Day 22 The peak offers the first of the track’s great views, a vista spanning from deep valleys to alpine meadows with wildflowers in hues of pink, blue, white, purple and yellow. It’s luxury to sit in a chair with a back on it. During winter and spring, snow can cover long sections of the track. Lots of climbs, about 1000m all up and 19.5km for the day. The AAWT starts in Victoria, travels through NSW, and finishes in the ACT, travelling through Australia’s alpine regions. Should be fun 22km all up for the day.
